Real estate and construction law, business law, law of persons and family Law

Pascal Rytz

Founder of Espace Legal, he is driven by a deep conviction that law is a powerful tool for resolving even the most complex challenges.

After earning his Master’s degree in Law from the University of Geneva in 1994 and being admitted to the bar in 1998, Pascal built a distinguished career by founding and co-leading several law firms in Geneva and the canton of Vaud. Clients may recognize him from his work with Solutions Avocats, Arc Avocats, or more recently, AAA Avocats.

In 2020, as the world adapted to new ways of working, Pascal combined his passion for law and technology to create a more agile and client-focused legal service model. This vision led to the development of Espace Legal, where streamlined communication and digital tools offer clients greater flexibility and efficiency.

I've been attacked twice using the same procedure

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
Someone I know gave me a loan a year ago, which I was supposed to pay back after six months. This loan was the subject of a written contract signed between us, but we agreed something else verbally. A disagreement arose and when I didn't pay him back, he filed a requisition...

I want to stand up this policeman

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
A defamation investigation has been opened against me for expressing my anger at a shopkeeper who offers chick meat, which I find cruel. The case has been assigned to a police officer who had already intervened two years earlier in proceedings against my son and me,...

Are we really allowed to drive without looking at the road in 2025?

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
I've heard that Switzerland now allows automated driving. Can I install an automated driving system in my vehicle? What steps do I need to take? It would be great for me to be able to read my files on long journeys, especially in accordion traffic... Damien, Geneva Automated driving is now permitted in Switzerland, but...

What about my chances of becoming Swiss?

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
I have lived in Geneva for over 50 years and worked here for 47 years. However, I've had financial difficulties, including personal bankruptcy and certificates of default. Now that I'm retired and have French nationality, is it still possible for me to obtain Swiss nationality? L Ordinary naturalisation in Switzerland is...

How does the consortium work?

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
As someone who has been involved in small property deals for many years, I was approached by an acquaintance to take part in a truly original project in collaboration with other entrepreneurs. To carry out this joint venture, my contacts are talking about joining forces in the form of a consortium. What does this mean in legal terms, and what consequences might it have?

Speed limits or chicanes?

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
My local authority recently introduced a 30 km/h zone. In order to force drivers to slow down, it has put up bollards, widened the pavements and erected raised speed bumps, making it impossible for two vehicles to pass each other. It's very annoying, it damages the cars and I wonder if there's a limit... to the right...

The art of going right

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
A friend told me that you can now overtake on the right on the motorway. I've always learned that it's strictly forbidden to do so, and I've always respected this rule, sometimes angrily... Can we now really drive like in the United States? José The basic principle has not changed: according to art. 35 of the...

Taking flight from a marriage on the rocks

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
Our marriage was destined for a bright future filled with love. But as time went by, my turtle-dove became increasingly jealous and invasive. Today, I'm constantly watched over by my turtle-dove, who makes increasingly violent scenes at the drop of a hat, insulting me and sometimes even hitting me...

I'm freaking out!

23 June 2025
by Pascal Rytz
My company was recently the target of a cyber attack. Our IT specialist is currently mobilised to assess the extent of the disaster: financial losses, recovery of compromised data, identification of potentially stolen information... Everything is under the microscope. But there's one question on my mind: am I legally obliged to tell anyone about this incident if I don't want...
