Loïc Fässler
Loïc Fässler obtained his Baccalauréat in law at the University of Geneva in 2013, then his Master in law with honours in European law at the University of Fribourg, during which he broadened his knowledge of European and international law in Austria. To complete his studies, he successfully completed the Lawyer’s school (ECAV) in Geneva in 2017.
Always on the lookout for new challenges to feed his curiosity, Loïc Fässler has carried out a variety of activities that have enabled him to gain pure practical experience by being confronted with atypical situations. He has worked as a security guard and as a truck driver in the Swiss army.
In order to stay at the cutting edge of the use of modern tools and advise clients active in this field, he recently completed his CAS in Law and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Neuchâtel. During this course, he wrote an article on esports, a field he is passionate about.

A pragmatic and creative lawyer

Thanks to his seriousness and legal knowledge, Loïc Fässler took on the responsibility of managing the compliance department of one of the largest money transfer companies in Switzerland for four years. In this role, he took on the challenges of compliance monitoring required by FINMA, business law and managing a department. The company's international structure and its clients from all over the world meant that Loïc Fässler was able to work in French, German and English.
Determined to become a lawyer, Loïc Fässler joined a renowned law firm in Lausanne to complete his legal traineeship. This experience allowed him to gain practical knowledge in both legal advisory work and proceedings before administrative and judicial authorities in French- and German-speaking Switzerland. His practice covered a wide range of areas, including family law, contract law, criminal law, immigration law and tax law. He successfully passed his bar exam in the canton of Vaud in 2023.
A keen sportsman, Loïc Fässler has played handball (amateur and competitive) for over twenty years and joined the committee of a local club in 2020. His interest in sport and law led him to become involved with the Swiss Handball Federation's (FSH) Disciplinary Commission for Mass Sports (CDM) in 2019.
