Adulthood according to federal judges

29 June 2026
by Pascal Rytz
A while ago, my 17-year-old son received a payment order from the debt enforcement office at home concerning me, and he forgot to tell me about it. As a result, I have unfortunately received a notice of seizure! I did some research and discovered that debt collection documents can only be served at…

All work deserves a wage

23 June 2026
by Pascal Rytz
I saw last Sunday that the people of Vaud had agreed to introduce a cantonal minimum wage. As far as I can recall, our canton of Geneva also has such a wage. Is this the case, and if so, what are the differences between the two cantons? Robert, Onex Yes, Geneva has had a cantonal minimum wage since 2020. The canton of…

A vigilante in the city?

16 June 2026
by Pascal Rytz
I was out for a drive the other day in a charming village in the canton of Vaud when I spotted a shop selling local produce. As there weren’t many people around, I parked my car on the pavement for a few minutes while I popped in to buy a little souvenir. When I came back, I found myself face to face with a man who…

Freedom of association: should we be splitting hairs?

2 July 2025
by Pascal Rytz
"I'm a member of a student association that glorifies the mullet: only people with this legendary mane can join. We hold conferences and hair evenings. However, the university has just withdrawn our official label, deeming the exclusion of non-mulets to be discriminatory! We're walking on thin ice, aren't we? Your association can certainly continue...

Frequently asked questions

Our firm operates in many areas of Swiss law. In particular, we advise and represent our clients in construction and real estate law (business contracts, building permits, neighbourhood disputes, leases), in criminal law, in business law (business start-ups, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions), in labour law (termination, severance agreements, disputes), as well as in contract law (writing, analysis, revision), in debt collection and bankruptcy law (debt collection, complaint, bankruptcy), in family law (marriage, divorce, parental rights, parentage), inheritance law (planning, executors, estate disputes), and everything to do with e-sport as well as artificial intelligence. This versatility enables us to provide effective support to both individuals and businesses in most of their legal issues

Our fees are set transparently, based on the complexity of your case and the time spent on it. As a general rule, we agree with you on a hourly rate or a lump sum from the start of the mandate, depending on the nature of the case. At your first meeting, we will provide you with a clear estimate of costs to avoid any unpleasant surprises. This gives you visibility of the legal budget from the outset.

The first consultation is designed to examine your situation and determine how we can help you. During this meeting, you present your case and we analyse with you the relevant information or documents. We answer your questions and advise you on the possible steps to resolve your matter. At the end of the consultation, we propose a strategy tailored to your case, along with an estimate of the time and costs involved, so that you leave with a clear understanding of the next steps.
